Beautiful And the beauty of an Oak is that (s)he is both male and female.

Ali, I didn't know this. I think Maples, too. I'm guessing that folks back in the old days were well aware of this, given their relationship to the land, yet this gender issue didn't live as an issue at all. It simply 'was'. We have so much to learn from the elders. Thanks for reading and weighing in.

Yes it is a strange world in which everything has become fragmented and disconnected from their spirit and soul. I've always seen an Oak as a beautiful, soevereign Being. It's a tragic loss that we don't see each other as soevereign human beings anymore, feminine and masculine, equals. Let's hope this will change by living it ourselves. Love the story you are creating!
